Finding Inspiration
Every design starts with inspiration—whether it’s a textile, artwork, or a special element that sparks creativity. For this project, a striped fabric caught my eye with its unique colors and patterns. I pulled its mink-gray tone for the sofa to ground the room and added a pop of chartreuse with a pillow. A chenille fabric for the ottoman brought in texture and warmth.

The two windows in the room flank an original fireplace, so I wanted drapery that would enhance the space without overpowering it. I can't say that I have finally achieved a big goal because this type of accomplishment had never even entered the realm of my imagination.
