Window frame depth requirement：
2 1/2 inches for Roman shades/Roller Shades/Cellular Shades
2 3/4 inches for Bamboo shades
3 inches for Zebra Shades/Venetian Blinds

Outside Mount

You can choose outside mount for better shading effect. Shades are installed over the window on brackets attached to the wall or window frame. We recommend adding a minimum of 2-4 inches to your width and 10-12 inches for height measurements to allow for light gap coverage.
