Designing a Family Bathroom You’ll Love

By Devorah Bukiet

Did you ever think about how much thought and intention goes into designing spaces? So many details and when it begins from the construction phase, there really is a tremendous amount to factor in. As a designer, I get a thrill from this sort of problem-solving work. Space planning, figuring out how to use each nook and cranny to maximize potential and of course the full aesthetic phase.

Family Bathroom

From Vision to Reality

Colors, mood boards, samples and lots of time and expertise go into making sure every decision is done with the project's best results in mind, aka the client. Imagining a space from nothing is not something anyone or everyone can do, it comes from the minds of visionaries. It is a gift and joy to create.

Creating an Unexpected Flow

When scheming this incredible and timeless family bathroom, I wanted there to be a flow that was also unexpected. Seeing so many styles over and over really pushes me to think beyond and come up with fresh ways to look at spaces time and again. The color palette in this delightful room is just that, an unexpected flow.

Playing with Color and Texture

The warm mustard tile arranged multidirectionally pairs so stunningly with the soft misty green on the floor and vanity. The playful floor tile designs keep it joyful and the muted tone of it keeps it classy. It feels fresh and warm at the same time. The custom vanity is perfection and I love the way the chrome metals give everything a sparkle.

Drapery that Ties the Room Together

The shower curtain is a gorgeous floor-to-ceiling panel by TWOPAGES curtains. The embroidered wave pattern and the colors are literally perfect for the space. The design flows and feels fun but is also incredibly chic. It is really what ties everything together so well.

Elevating the Often Overlooked

I think people don't consider the shower curtains enough. The wrong styles, colors or heights can be the deciding factor on what takes a bathroom to the next level or not. I love that TWOPAGES curtains have so many choices to choose from to make this detail come to life the way it deserves.
