Meet Woodlands Style House, a women-led design firm based in The Woodlands, TX. Founded by Jill Simms and Sondra Lagasse, their team is passionate about creating beautiful, functional spaces in any style. This latest project, designed by Jillian Kennedy, reflects their commitment to accessible, personalized design—turning houses into dream homes.
This project embraces the natural beauty of The Woodlands, incorporating elements that bring the outdoors in. Designed with a focus on light and airiness, the space features TWOPAGES window treatments that provide both privacy and warmth while allowing natural light to flow through. The design balances functionality and aesthetics, creating a serene and inviting retreat that reflects the client's lifestyle.

Woodlands Style House is an all-women design business based in The Woodlands, TX, just outside of Houston. Founded by Jill Simms and Sondra Lagasse, the company was built on a shared passion for creating beautiful yet accessible designs for any space, in any style. Over the years, the team has grown to include 22 women, each specializing in various aspects of design—from renovations and decorating to event planning, holiday styling, and organizing. This diverse expertise allows Woodlands Style House to offer full-service design solutions, helping clients bring beauty and functionality into their homes in countless ways.

What was your design inspiration for this project? - WOODLANDS STYLE HOUSE –
Our greatest design inspirations is actually where we live. The Woodlands is known for our beautiful pine trees, and love of nature, so we love to ‘bring the outside in’ whenever we can. - TWOPAGES –
What was the most notable design challenge for this project? - WOODLANDS STYLE HOUSE –
This project included a FULL downstairs renovation and all new furnishings and décor. It truly does not even look like the same house that we started with. And this family especially needed our help with turning this house into a home. With multiple kids, and a little one on the way, this space needed to be a true retreat for them all! Everything selected helps create such a warm and inviting atmosphere - perfect for this growing family!
