THE STORY
BEHIND THE PROJECT
Meet Jessica Camaros, an interior designer based in Dallas, Texas, known for blending the charm of history with modern design. In her own 100-year-old home, she combines past, present, and future elements to create a cohesive and calming space. From a spacious 12-foot kitchen island to a zen-inspired bathroom, Jessica focuses on clean, functional designs that reflect her personality and lifestyle.
A key part of her design is the use of TWOPAGES window treatments. In her dining room, she uses floor-to-ceiling curtains to create the illusion of height in smaller spaces, and bamboo Roman Shades in her bathroom for a light, airy feel. Jessica’s style is eclectic modern with mid-century and bohemian touches, always with an intentional, clutter-free twist that brings a sense of calm to every room.

What was your design inspiration for this project? - JESSICA –
I normally spend the majority of my time with clients, helping them with their homes, bringing out their personalities in their spaces. You're probably wondering what inspired this design. Well, this home is 100 years old, so I wanted to honor its history, have a little bit of the past and the present, mixed with the future, all in one. - TWOPAGES –
What was the most notable design challenge for this project? - JESSICA –
One of my biggest challenges in this home was trying to find space to hide things. I love hiding everything. When it comes to my kitchen, I don't like items on my countertop. I enjoy finding little spaces and nooks and crannies, like a pantry door or even my laundry. I love having my laundry hidden behind a door. These little key things really make a space feel calm and relaxing, without clutter in your home.
Window treatments in my home are key to bringing the whole space together.

What is your design style? - JESSICA –
It's eclectic modern with touches of mid-century and bohemian, but always with a clean, intentional twist. I believe design can help us live our dreams, and every detail in a space should enhance that vision. I think design is so important, and it's especially important to showcase your personality and who you are in your space. I really don't believe in rules, and I believe in helping my clients find who they are in their homes. - TWOPAGES –
What makes TWOPAGES curtains the choice for your project? How did they inspire your design choices? - JESSICA –
Window treatments in my home are key to bringing the whole space together. I used and love TWOPAGES. In my dining room, I always make sure that the curtains go all the way up to the ceiling to enhance smaller spaces. We do have lower ceilings in this house, so in order for it to feel taller, I've put the curtains all the way up to the ceiling. It's a very important tip for smaller spaces. And then Roman shades—I love me some bamboo Roman Shades. In my bathroom, I use the bamboo Roman Shades in white, and they slide easily up and down, really making the space of that tiny little bathroom.
