Inside mount means the window coverings will be mounted and hung on the inside of the window frame. Not recommended for shallow window sills.
Outside mount means the window coverings will be mounted and hung outside of the window frame, making it ideal for shallow window sills or for more complete light blockage by reducing thehalo effect.

**Note: After unboxing, you only need to install the brackets and hang up the shades, then the shades will just function normally.Please do not fiddle with the lifting mechanism behind the shades, otherwise the shades will be damaged and cannot function.

Great Blackout

The fabric itself blocks light really well, but keep in mind that light can still come through the gaps around the edges. For strong summer sunlight, I’d recommend ordering a wider panel or ensuring the curtains cover the window fully for the best blackout effect.

I was disappointed with the product, but customer service saved the day!
I explained to them the issues I had with the product and quickly offered a replacement. However, their solution wouldn’t have worked for me because of the issues I explain below. They refunded the money as a gift card and I was able to place a new order for another product that met my needs. This is the third product I’ve purchased from them, I had no significant complaints about the other two. We loved the high quality and the design.
Keep in mind that they’re on the other side of the world so you won’t get an immediate response to an email, but they responded every time within 12 hours. Thank you Karina for your great service!

I specifically ordered blackout shades, and these do not meet that description. I don’t think they should sell those brackets for outside mounting because the brackets are positioned too far from the door, allowing significant light to pass through the sides. Additionally, I don’t think they should advertise the Roman shades with ribs as blackout because there are visible holes throughout the fabric—especially at the stitching points—where light easily shines through. Something else I was disappointed by is that the ribs inside the shade are not secured, as they need a little pockets at the end to hold them in place. As a result, they keept sliding out during the installation.

the chain holder needs redesign, I was not able to get it to work. The plastic that connects the two ends of the loop chain is too large to fit through the holder.
