How would you describe your design style? - TAMARA ANKA –
My decorating style is very classic, American with European influences, I love to infuse Chinoiserie pieces as well as coastal elements throughout our home - a true mix of everything I love. It’s about creating classic, timeless elegance and sophistication that's also casual and liveable, with a little bit of the unexpected thrown in. I love a chic, curated and collected look, a space that feels like it’s evolved over time and is very personal. - TWOPAGES –

Creating spaces and vignettes that feel both sophisticated and inviting while still maintaining a sense of casual, approachable living is very important to me. I love layering beautiful color, texture, and pattern with a mix of things that I truly love and that bring me joy. Blue is my favorite color and you’ll find it threaded throughout each room in our home. Whether it’s a wall color or wallpaper, a beautiful pillow, a classic blue and white ginger jar, or window treatment detail, you’ll always find something blue around here!

Explain the effect the curtains accomplished for the project? - TAMARA ANKA –
Details make all the difference. For our drapes, I chose a more tailored, streamlined look - I always love a classic triple pleat header and memory training with a slight break at the floor for something a little more upscale and elevated in our home. Hanging our drapery as high as possible to bring the eye upward in the space creating the illusion of more height is also an important detail to consider. I also love to add that touch of the unexpected - beautiful trim detail on the leading edge for added color and pattern is always a very chic detail. - TWOPAGES –
