THE STORY
BEHIND THE PROJECT

Meet Natalie Aurigema, a self-taught designer whose journey began with a love for storytelling and a need for creative expression during early motherhood. With a background in PR and Journalism, she turned her Instagram into a micro blog — now a go-to space for design inspiration, motherhood reflections, and timeless interiors.

Her design style is rooted in natural textures, vintage finds, and coastal calm. Think: soft neutrals, driftwood tones, airy linens, and well-worn antiques. After styling her own vineyard wedding in 2015 and decorating her home in 2020, Natalie dove headfirst into design—learning scale, principles, and industry standards from the ground up.

Today, she creates effortlessly elegant spaces that feel warm, relaxed, and deeply personal.

  • TWOPAGES –
Briefly describe your design style & aesthetics.
  • NATALIE AURIGEMA –
My design style is a timeless blend of coastal charm and vintage elegance, where sun-faded hues, weathered textures, and storied pieces create a sense of effortless serenity. I gravitate toward soft neutrals, muted sea tones, and timeworn finishes. Natural materials like linen, rattan, and reclaimed wood add warmth and character, while vintage treasures—be it an antique brass lantern, a patinaed mirror, or a well-loved table—bring depth and nostalgia. Every space is designed to feel breezy, inviting, and lived-in, with a collected-over-time aesthetic that honors the past while embracing the tranquility of coastal living.

How do window treatments function in your home?
  • NATALIE AURIGEMA –
We were able to fit a big couch in this living room because the space and height of the ceilings. Our TWOPAGES curtains played an important role here as they highlight the height of the room and truly help pull the room together and make it feel cozier. We love the fabric of the drapes – the cotton is soft, breathable and easy to care for. The breathability of the cotton allows air to circulate freely, keeping us cool in warm weather. It's also easy to wash and maintain which is ideal when you have three small children.

Explain the effect the curtains accomplished for the workspace
  • NATALIE AURIGEMA –
A beautiful workspace should have all the elements of a home – colors you love, cohesive comfort, and refined details that make your inner decorator smile. The pink florals in these drapes were a great way to incorporate a feminine touch to my office. I love the vintage, yet modern feel of them. We wanted to highlight the height of the ceilings in the office as well so we chose to hang them just 10 inches from the ceiling. In addition, I wanted the curtains to look lush, so we doubled up on the panels on either side to give it a dramatic feel.
