“This year's Harvest Hues are all about bringing warmth into your home this season. The Fall color trends of 2024 include rich shades as bold accents, neutral tones, and muted color for visual variety.” - Nichole Ellstrom and Amy Bangs, 31 Chapters Design Studio
As the leaves change and the air turns crisp, it’s time to warm up our spaces by inviting the rich colors of the season indoors. When looking at colors trends, one of the first places to start is the fashion industry. They often inform the direction of home design as well. Whether you're ready to redecorate or simply want to add a few new pieces, here are five key color trends for fall to inspire you:
1. Wine Red and Deep Burgundy
Red is a powerful and rich color. Since the viral unexpected red theory came on the scene, home design has woven that concept into the colder months with deep burgundy and red wine hues. This deep hue brings warmth and a touch of drama to any room. Whether it’s through an accent chair or painted room, these colors can serve as a bold focal point, perfectly complementing softer tones. Pair it with soft neutrals to create a balanced, inviting atmosphere that feels both cozy and elevated.
2. Deep Muted Blue
Deep muted blue tones are a standout this season, offering a calming sophistication. Acting as a neutral, but standing on its own, deep muted blues are great in accent pillows, furniture pieces, wallpaper and color drenched walls. One thing we love about this color is it’s both modern yet timeless.
3. Espresso Brown
Espresso brown is a classic choice that brings warmth and richness to any room. This deep, dark brown works wonderfully as a grounding color, especially in furniture and cabinetry. It adds a touch of sophistication while complementing lighter shades, making it perfect for creating a cozy, inviting atmosphere in living rooms or dining areas.
4. Olive Green
Olive green is the perfect nod to nature, bringing an organic touch to your decor. This muted green pairs beautifully with both warm and cool tones, making it versatile for any space. Whether used in textiles, wall colors, or decorative accents, olive green adds a refreshing element that evokes the beauty of fall foliage and enhances the overall warmth of your home.
5. Soft Neutrals
Soft neutrals—think warm whites, taupes, and grays—create a versatile foundation that allows for creativity with seasonal accents. These shades provide a calming backdrop, making your space feel open and airy. Incorporating soft neutrals with pops of deeper colors like wine red and deep muted blue can create a harmonious balance that feels inviting and comfortable.
The beauty of fall color trends lies in their timeless appeal; these hues can be used year after year. They also transition effortlessly into winter. This year's colors highlight the season's richness and sophistication, and we are here for it!

Hello, I am looking for some interior design help on which window treatments I should purchase. I would love to learn more and see how we can work together.
Perfect window covering for our moody powder room. Gives the right amount of privacy but still lets in natural light. I did not get them lined as with the stripe it’s nice that the pattern is on both sides (so they look cute from the outside or the house too!). These are the black pinstripe colour.
We ordered 3 shades, choosing the color from the sample book provided. They arrived quicker than expected-less than 3 weeks. The fit and quality were excellent, and the price was less than 1/3 what we paid for other shades from a local company (to be fair, they installed them as well). However, installation was easy. Wish we'd found these before we got the other shades in our home!
We ordered the cordless bamboo woven share for a guest room. We followed the measurement instructions. The shade arrived after less than 3 weeks, and looks great. My husband installed, and thought it was straightforward. We are very please with this purchase.
Floor-to-Ceiling Elegance Without the Designer Price Tag
We just moved into our home and needed to cover a full floor-to-ceiling wall of glass in our dinette, and TWOPAGES' Jawara curtains delivered a moment that feels genuinely elevated.
The fabric itself is substantial, beautifully textured, with a soft neutral hue that reads effortless and expensive without trying too hard. The lining diffuses the natural light into this soft, glowy wash across the room while actually keeping the space noticeably cooler, which matters more than people realize when you have afternoon sun blazing through.
My favorite detail? The adjustable fabric pins let us completely conceal the ceiling-mounted track, so all you see is this clean, tailored pleat from floor to ceiling. And since we're brand new to this house, the coverage gave us instant privacy without sacrificing an ounce of style.
The quality rivals what local specialists were quoting us at, but for a third to a quarter of the price.
I wondered upon this website and thought I’d give it a try
